Old MacDonald

One morning I was casually quizzing the kids on what noises different animals made.  Then we tried some more difficult ones.  Giraffes, platypuses, earth worms.  The last one stumped them exceedingly until I started screaming and yelling as though I was being eaten.

The kids laughed and laughed and insisted that I make it a comic.

Now it's not gruesome since the kids requested it...right?

Coating of Snowy Reality

This comic may be a bit meta, but it makes me laugh.

And where we live we are getting pummeled by snow, we live in polyester down-filled coats the size of Rhode Island, and have a fear of running low on bread and milk (remind me again why we don't have our own chickens and cows?), I thought that this would be quite an appropriate way of ushering in the first blizzard of 2015.

For those of you just joining us, Irmgard is Lucy's cynical and fashion-savvy sister, Leo (Lucy's husband) loves coffee almost as much as Lucy, and Krystall, the blonde, is their cousin as well as Irmgard's roommate with the terrible singing voice.

Effective Theft-Prevention Devices

This goes out to all of you Christmas cookie makers out there who try with admirable effort to maintain proper cookie dough levels so as to have the correct output for presents and treats for loved ones.

No cookie dough was harmed in the making of this comic.  I can't guarantee complete theft-prevention through the use of this method.
